Call Transfer allows you to transfer the call you're currently on (the live call) to another phone number, like to a cell phone or to a friend's house.
To transfer a live call:
- While your call is in progress, tell the caller you are going to transfer them to another number.
- Press and quickly release the switch hook. Don't hold the switch hook for more than a second or you'll hang up on the caller.
- Dial the number to which you want the call to be transferred. Wait for the call to be answered to let that party know you are transferring a call to them.

- You may simply hang up while the second number is ringing and the call will be seamlessly transferred. Note: If transferring a call to a 1+ number (long distance), you will be charged for the long-distance call for the entire duration of the transferred call.
