Metronet Powers Up Customers in Greenville, NCTo check the status of Metronet's construction in your area and to sign up to be notified when Metronet services are available

Greenville, NC— January 2021 — Metronet today announced that businesses and residents in select Greenville areas are officially eligible to receive Metronet's 100 percent fiber optic services. As Metronet progresses through its two-year construction plan in the City of Greenville, you can call the phone number above or check for availability in your area.

“As one of Metronet's first customers in Greenville, I have been able to experience an ultra-high-speed fiber-optic network that has made working online easier and faster than before,” said Julia Kulas. “Metronet's technicians have been incredible to work with getting my services set-up and I’m excited for my neighbors to get to experience the Metronet difference.”

Metronet brings fiber optic services directly to homes and businesses in underserved communities in America with affordable, symmetrical speeds up to 10 Gigabits with no long-term contracts. The company expects its network to be available to more than one million residential households and business locations in the near term, providing more service options to hundreds of communities.

“As Metronet makes its way through construction, and now into the start of installations, Greenville has been a great partner as we integrate into their community to officially provide ultra-high-speed internet to residents and businesses,” stated John Cinelli, Metronet CEO. “We look forward to serving more of Greenville and are excited to see the impact that our services will have one the way the community works, learns and plays.”

Metronet will soon have a storefront in the Greenville area that will serve as the command center for customer service and sales located at 530 SE Greenville Blvd, Suite A, near Sports Clips Haircuts of Greenville.

As Metronet continues construction throughout Greenville, residents in construction areas will receive communication by mail about construction activity in their neighborhood 30 days prior to beginning and the company provides additional messaging, such as yard signs, to let residents know when the temporary construction process is beginning in their neighborhood. Metronet crews are marked by ID tags and branded vehicles.
